This week is Summer Reading in full swing! We begin with the Read Dog here at the Library; Dog Day tickets. Every time participant reads to the Dog, one box is checked on the Dog Day card. When the card is complete may turn in to Tina to receive gift card to Freddy’s for one free: Frosted Lemonade (small) or Chocolate Chunk Cookie, or Milkshake (small) or Icedream Cone or cup (small). While the younger folk are reading to the Dog, older youth can work on making a knotted blanket, if finished in time, it will be given as a Summer Reading prize. The Read Dog and Knotted blankets are all summer long at 1:00PM every Tuesday. On Wednesday Doc Gizmo will be back at the Clearwater Middle School to put on a show for us. On Friday, June 9th the older (young adult to adult) folks can do a “Wall Climbing” activity at the Wellness Center as part of the Summer Reading program. Teens need to remember that we have a CPL Youth: Books and Beyond meeting Wednesday at 4:45 at the Library.
