Well, hope all are settled back into the “School “ routine. We have not just been resting since Summer Reading 2017 ended, we have been planning a preparing for lots of Fall activities at the library. Story Time and Lego land will start back up soon. Of course there is lots of excitement over the Big Read with a Kick – off party at the Wichita Art Museum at 2PM on September 23rd and all the activities both in Clearwater and Wichita that follow that. Have you heard that the “Books and Beyond” (teen club) at the Clearwater Public Library is putting on a Comi Con in October? Lots of fun for everyone! If you want to have a vendor table or carnival booth, check with Tina to sign up and pay your non-refundable donation for the space. Perhaps you would rather enter one of the contests; short story, poetry, drawing, costume or the T-shirt design. Yes, we want YOU to design the T-shirt for our Comi Con. All entry forms are on our website www.clearwaterkslibrary.org or on our Facebook page. You never know you may see Dr. Who, Thor, Elsa from Frozen or Rocket from Guardians of the Galaxy at the ComiCon. Admission is a good will donation to the Books & Beyond club as they raise money to create a “teen space” at the Library and just to bring some fun to the Community.
