If you missed “Coming to America, Part I”, you can still come to “Coming to America, Part II” on October 21st when we have several Cultural Ambassadors from WSU coming to tell about their immigrant stories and a door prize (“The Latehomer”, the big Read book) will be given away. In November we will have one more presentation here at the Clearwater Public Library for the Big Read this year. Go online to our Website, www.clearwaterkslibrary.org or check our Face book page to follow or find upcoming events.

Perhaps when you come in you will preorder your “Never –ending WorldS” t-shirt. The top shelf of the display case even has some art work that has been entered for the Art contest. You can still enter the contests as the deadlines have been moved to the day of the Comic Con. Making connections, creating, expressing ourselves and looking at the world in different ways or looking at different experiences, you can find all that at “Never-ending WorldS”, the Comic Con that the Library teen club (Books & Beyond) is holding on October 28th from 10:00 am to 6:00PM. We have vendors (in the Library), carnival booths, concessions and “Selfie booths” in the back parking lot, workshops and an author panel in the City Chambers. We have a dance demonstration and contests galore. Check the Books and Beyond page on our Website, www.clearwaterkslibrary.org for the forms for the contests or drop by and see Tina at the library. Admission to the Comic Con is a goodwill donation to help the B&B raise funds to create a “teen space” at the Library. Come explore worlds with us. Just in time to get everyone ready for Halloween.
