Looking for something unique for your Mother or Grandmother for Mother’s Day this year? Maybe just looking for something fun after enduring 2020? the Books & Beyond Teen Club at the Clearwater Public Library have partnered with the Clearwater Church of Christ and the Clearwater Community Center to present an Interactive Mystery Dinner Theatre the day before Mother’s day. Any profit will be split between the partners. The Books& Beyond are raising funds to improve the Library Garden. So bring Mom if you want, have a good time and help several community groups. Tickets can be purchased at the Library, the Senior Center of the Church.

Today, April 15, marks the eighth anniversary of the 2013 Boston Marathon Bombing, which killed three individuals, injured hundreds, and affected thousands. Marathon runner Greg Kalkwarf, who now resides near Clearwater, wrote about his experience mere yards from the explosion, which occurred shortly after he waved to his family sitting near the finish line. You can find his book, “Was That Thunder? More than a Boston Marathon Bombing Story,” available for checkout on the shelf at the Clearwater Library. #BostonStrong
